Current Researches: Long-acting biotechnological drugs, Tumors-Targeting biologic therapies (Genetic engineering, enzyme engineering and antibody drugs), Antimicrobial therapy (natural products and bio-macromolecules).

Achievements: Our department currently has the entire research and production facilities for biotechnological drugs, such as design and culture of large-scale cell and other microbes, downstream separation🎥、purification and quality control of macromolecules (protein, enzyme, antibody……). Antiviral drug research lab has a BSL-2 biosafety laboratory and SPF grade laboratory animal laboratory. Now our department has been funded by tens of National Natural Science Funding projects and Shanghai Municipal Key Projects and so on. Two new drug certificates and tens of patents were authorized. Hundreds of high quality SCI papers have been published in the biotechnological fields.
